Well, well, well. Christmas 2016!
I hope you all have had a wonderful holidays season! May it have been filled with lots of love, good vibes, and brand new memories!
I just wanted to share a new location for some really awesome Christmas lights!
Location: East Lake Village, Yorba Linda, CA
A beautiful “village” where each neighborhood is decorated with a specific theme. For example: “Candy Cane Lane”
It’s amazing because their backyard is a man-made lake. Everyone has a boat and at Christmas it is LIT. Literally. Most houses are decorated according to theme or some places are just decorate on their own.
Some places go ALL OUT like the picture above, but it’s just eye catching. Ridiculously beautiful. Word of caution: dress warm. Since the weather has been a bit chilly here in Southern California and these houses are by a lake, the temperature was really down there. Bring scarves, gloves, beanies, and warm coat. Also comfy shoes should you choose to walk around the neighborhood! The walk itself takes around an hour to complete a full circle. It’s well worth it though! Grab a bunch of friends and make a night of it! Don’t forget a warm drink. That’ll definitely help combat the cold weather.
That’s how I got into the festive spirit! How did you?
I would love to see pictures of your favorite places! Tag me on Instagram @theeliehuynh and use the #elieadventures!
